Andy and Ben had a great evening at the Yorkshire Gas Association’s Innovation Event last week.
Ben, Synthotech’s Research and Development Engineer, presented the innovation project ServiBoost to the guests of the well attended event. The NIA funded project was developed with Cadent and is designed to give a temporary pressure uplift to service pipes to fix poor pressure problems. This means that customers will still have access to gas whilst the network organise for the problem to be permanently fixed. Moving the work from ‘Emergency’ to ‘Planned’ will be more cost effective for the networks and less disruptive for customers.
