Advancing Water Technology with Our New Hub in North Yorkshire.
At Synthotech, we’re excited to share the launch of our new Water Technology Hub in North Yorkshire, a significant step forward in revolutionising how water utilities operate. This hub will create eight new jobs and allows us to drive groundbreaking advancements in no-dig pipeline technology.
Backed by a £7.3 million funding boost, we’ve developed cutting-edge innovations like the SynthoCAM H2O, which uses advanced CCTV technology to inspect drinking water pipes without disrupting supply. This ensures leak-free pipelines while reducing the need for costly and disruptive excavations.
Through Synovate, our innovation division, we’ve secured £5.8 million of the funding boost through Ofwat Water Breakthrough Challenge contracts to deploy robotics that detect and repair leaks in live water mains. These projects reduce public disruption, lower repair costs, and support sustainability in water management.
