Working closely with Rainbow Restoration‘s Training and technical team, Synthotech now provides a gas trace system specific to the internal applications Rainbow Restoration typically undertakes.
It was important for us to understand more about the group’s day-to-day applications, so Craig Duthie and Rainbow’s Technical Manager Lee Harrington put their heads together.
The Esders Olli is a simple-to-use system with a 20-litre-per-hour pump that is in continuous use once in “Leak Detection” mode. The H2 Sensor is built internally into the ruggedised case, so it is well protected. The LCD Graphic Display registers Parts Per Million in rapid time but also shows a significant drop after moving away from the Hydrogen source.
A number of alternative probes are available for the Olli so Lee and Craig developed specific kits to suit. The Olli is great for internal applications however, if some external works are required then a Carpet Probe is a great addition.
It should be noted that if the typical application is more external than internal then the alternative Esders “Hunter” is also available. This is a 40 Litre per hour unit and the great thing is that all of the accessories for the Olli can be used with the Hunter…
