Two of the engineering team have been our representing Synthotech at prestigious events this week.
Simon Langdale took part in the Pervasive sensing of buried pipes and AI workshop at the Twenty65 Annual Conference 2021. The workshop was in collaboration with the University of Sheffield and Nurona, and discussed the future of robotics and AI, its application to buried pipe infrastructure inspection and rehabilitation. It was great to be part of this well-run event and we look forward to being more involved in Twenty65âs program as we grow our involvement in the potable water industry.
Ollie Martin also presented at the Pipeline Industry Guildâs South East Section presentation competition last night. He performed a great presentation on LeakVISION, a project that our innovation company SynoVate is working on with Northern Gas networks, EIC and TTP. The presentation was received really well and achieved second place.
