Synthotech is part of the Synthotech Group. The group is made up of Synthotech that manufactures and suppliers products to the Gas, Water and Telecoms industries world-wide, and SynOvate which is our Research and Development business. We develop, manufacture and supply products that Locate, Survey, Detect, Construct, Manage and Maintain networks around the world.

We are a group that prides itself on being innovative, and pushing the boundaries of what can and can`t be achieved with process and products. We are proud to do things differently, ensuring that we bring positive change to our world.

Synthotech manufactures and supplies the best brands from round the world constantly hunting out new technology that can improve operational efficiency, reducing operational costs, and the need for excavations.

Synthotech is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire where it serves the whole of the UK. Synthotech not only sources solutions for its customers, but it is also able to carry out on-site training, remote and on-site servicing and calibration, and whole life asset management. Synthotech isn’t just a supplier, but a solution partner.

Through a process of stringent ongoing assessment, we are accredited to several industry standards and our competencies and compliance are continually measured and evaluated by our industries’ most respected regulatory bodies.

At Synthotech we operate a fully integrated management system that works across all aspects of our business and includes:

Quality Management System: The Synthotech Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by BSI.

Environmental Management System: The Synthotech Environmental Management System is certified to ISO14001:2015 by BSI.

Information Security Management System: The Synthotech Information Security Management System is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by BSI.

Health & Safety: The Synthotech Health and Safety Management System is certified to ISO 45001:2018, Occupational Health Safety Management Systems by BSI.

Integrated Management System: Having been certified to PAS99 from 2011 through to 2024 by BSi, since 2025 we continue to operate the Synthotech Management System to meet the standard without a separate certification.
