Synthotech has sold and trained out over 40 Live Gas Approved Camera Inspection kits for National Grid Gas.
It’s been a very busy couple of months here at Synthotech. As well as the launch for our new Water Extraction Systems (developed with Northern Gas Networks see here for more information), we have also sold, produced and trained out over 40 kits for National Grid Gas.
After seeing the benefits of our SynthoCam 3 camera systems, National Grid Gas has invested in additional SynthoCam 3 PE & Metallic kits for all regions on their network. They are also the first in the country to purchase the new SynthoCam 3 S3-50 camera kits. This cost effective alternative to the full S3 kit is approved for use on 4” – 8” Metallic mains with 50m insertion length and a vision only display monitor and is ideal for Emergency Response teams. National Grid Gas has also purchased Synthotech’s ServiceCam equipment, giving them the ability to camera live gas service pipes. This equipment is the only approved camera system on the UK market that can be used on live gas services. Users are already praising the light, compact and easy to use ServiceCam.
