This week two of our Technical Support Engineers Chris and Andy have been testing Synthotech’s New Titan Pan and Tilt system.
Titan Pan and Tilt Camera System took part in a successful live trial in Stockport with Cadent last week. The operator who is trained on Synthotech’s previous pan and tilt system conducted a survey on a 16” low pressure cast iron gas main.
He pushed a massive 52m in one direction and up to a non-tap plug the other way. The survey was a huge success with over 27 items of interest discovered including joints, tappings, plugs and other unknown items.
The NEW Titan has no dome and is currently the smallest pan and tilt camera in the UK gas market. It is made in the UK by Synthotech and can be used on 10” to 24” metallic mains up to 2bar.
