M-CEX™ is a tried and tested kit with a variety of rubber stoppers to suit many types of valve and pipe sizes.
This system is for use on all types of Emergency Control Valves (ECVs) from ½” to 2”, 19mm to 32mm Copper and 16mm to 32mm PE. There are a variety of stoppers to help you including: ridged, flexible, hard (black) and softer (blue) making access in a restricted space easier. The main stoppers can be used up to 75mbar on straight line entry and semi-concealed meter boxes. The M-CEX™ kits have a range of adaptors for use with BSP and BS746 screw threads.
The M-CEX™ system’s compact design is specifically designed to be used in confined spaces making it perfect for those difficult to reach ECVs. It also significantly reduces the time consumers are off gas. The system avoids the need for planned maintenance operations to isolate pipework systems particularly in multi-occupancy environments therefore considerably reducing costs.
The Synthotech M-CEX™ system is compatible with the CAPEX® system for live gas riser Cap and Plug exchange, as well as Live Gas Service Isolator and Service Alteration, START™.
