Synthotech had a really enjoyable evening exhibiting at the IGEM’s ‘RIIO-GD2 – The plan is in!’ event in Bristol this week.
The evening also included some excellent and informative technical presentations given by Wales and West Utilities’ (WWU) Clive Book, Neil Dalley, Chris Clarke, where they discussed how WWU have exceeded their targets for RIIO-GD1 and talked about how they are planning to do the same for RIIO-GD2 whilst reducing carbon. Martin Wayland from the HSE also gave a very interesting presentation on the challenges of RIIO-GD2.
It was great to chat to some new people at the exhibition and touch base with existng contacts. Thanks to IGEM’s South West branch for organising a lovely evening.
