This week, Synthotech Innovations Director Wez Little has been presenting Project GRAID to a full-house at the IET “Robotics in Extreme Environments” event in Birmingham.
Synthotech alongside our project partners National Grid Gas Transmission, Premtech, and Pipeline Integrity Engineers have been awarded £5.7m of funding by the 2014 Network Innovation Competition to design and build an agile robotic platform to inspect buried pipework on high pressure gas sites. The project has been named GRAID (Gas Robotic Agile Inspection Device).
Next week Simon Ayley, former IGEM President and Business Development Director at Synthotech, will be speaking about Project GRAID at the IGEM South West “Transmission System Asset Management” event near Bristol.
Come and join us for an evening of presentations on the subject of Transmission System Asset Management, including topics relating to intrusive and non-intrusive pipeline / AGI survey techniques and others. We also look forward to speaking to you at the Synthotech stand!
This is an opportunity to ask questions, find solutions & learn about our ‘game changing’ robotics and we will also be exhibiting two of our newest products, the ServiceCam and our Water Extraction System for live gas mains.
