Test Tee Heads
Synthotech Test Tee Heads are available in singles, doubles, triples or quadruples for 16mm, 20mm, 25mm and 32mm PE. Please not that 17.5mm PE can be tested using a 20mm Test Tee Head. Used on low pressure testing up to 250mbar on PE pipes, Synthotech Test Tee Heads are reliable and simple to use.
Test Heads
Synthotech Service (Short) Test heads are available for connecting onto an Emergency Control Valve. The low-pressure version has a ¾” BS746 female spin plate and the medium pressure system has a ¾” BSP male connection
Service Test Ends 16mm to 32mm (SDR 9 for 16/20mm SDR11 for 25/32mm)
Mains Test Ends from 40mm to 500mm SDR 11 or 17.6
Synthotech has a wide range of Pressure Test End that are used as a quick, simple and reliable method of providing a pressure testing facility in Polyethylene (PE) pipe without the need for additional fused parts and mechanical fittings.
The Test Ends are fully reusable and have an internal expanding gripper design from 1985. The higher the pressure the tighter they grip, thus eliminating the requirement for additional restraints. Suitable for both gas and potable water pipes tested up to 16bar.
Expanding Stopper / Drain Plugs
The expanding pipe stoppers are made of a rubber tyre ring, which is fitted between two plates. A moveable wing nut compresses the tyre, causing it to expand in the pipe which seals off the flow. Pipe stoppers are available from 2” (50mm) to 24” (600mm) manufactured from either aluminium, steel or nylon. They all have a central hollow shaft with a sealing screwed cap, ½” to 2” BSP. Larger sizes are available upon request.

Gauging / Proving Pigs
Our range of gauging / proving pigs come in two types. Solid and dumbbell type Manufactured approximately 10% under pipe size, these gauging /proving pigs are used to prove the internal dimensions of a pipe or duct before commissioning or slip lining.

Pipe Handling Tools
Synthotech can offer Pipe buggies and rollers for ease of handling PE pipe on site. Pipe buggies that are either fixed wheel or steerable for moving pipe on site, and rollers that are either free standing or In-Trench to help insert the pipe without damaging the surface while reducing the insertion drag.
Squeeze Off and Re-round Tools
Synthotech can offer a range of squeeze off and re-round tools for PE pipe. Squeeze offs offer ranges or 16 to 32mm, 20mm to 63mm and 63mm to 125mm. Re-round tools from service pipe 16 to 32mm and then individual sizes up to 125mm.

Electrofusion Boxes
Synthotech can offer a range of electrofusion boxes, for 16 to 630mm diameter fittings.
The Calder Griffon EF Welder is a lightweight system for fusing all conventional fittings up to 200mm, inlcuding a barcode scanner and 4m output lead.
The Calder Pegasus EF Welder offers functionality, reliability and affordability for 20 to 630mm diameter fittings.
